Leonardo DRS and BlueHalo have answered the need for a mobile Counter-UAS solution for the U.S. Army.  The new Counter-UAS Directed Energy Stryker platform is a future capability available to warfighters today, all on a single vehicle. The platform provides soldiers with the mobility, firepower, and protection required to maneuver, fight, and survive at the tactical level in contested environments. The Stryker has enhanced lethality to defeat ground and air threats, and fully integrated with the U.S. Army’s Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control network, ensuring it is interoperable with other Air Defense systems.

The Counter-UAS Directed Energy Stryker is designed to defeat Group 1-3 UAS with multiple kinetic and non-kinetic defeat technologies capable of striking individual or multiple threats simultaneously. BlueHalo provides the 26-kilowatt Laser Weapon System combines precision optical and laser hardware with advanced software and processing to enable and enhance the directed energy “kill chain.” The kinetic capability from team partners includes a remote weapon system and cannon cued by advanced tactical radars.  The new C-UAS DE Stryker was developed by using Leonardo DRS’ deep experience in bringing together and integrating best-of-breed technologies from a coalition of industry partners.
